Thanks for visiting the Careerist Education Terms page. Careerist Inc. ("Careerist Inc.", "Careerist" or "we") adopts and implements General Education Rules to better clarify the educational process of our training programs. These General Education Rules are part of the educational process and can be reviewed by Careerist at its sole discretion. UPON ENROLLMENT, STUDENTS AGREE TO CAREFULLY READ AND AGREE TO THESE EDUCATION TERMS.
Program Overview
Careerist offers comprehensive online training programs designed to prepare students for successful tech careers:
Software QA Engineering Program - A 17-week program consisting of 7 weeks of learning, followed by 4 weeks of internship and 6 weeks of the career coaching stage and the job search stage up to 10 months.
QA Automation Program - A 21-week program consisting 5 weeks of Python programming fundamentals, and 7 weeks of QA Automation training, followed by 3 weeks of internship and 6 weeks of the career coaching stage and the job search stage up to 10 months.
QA Bundle Program - A comprehensive 10-month program consisting of complete Software QA Engineering training (7 weeks of learning and 4 weeks of internship), followed by QA Automation training (12 weeks of learning and 3 weeks of internship) and 6 weeks of the career coaching stage and the job search stage up to 10 months.
Tech Sales Program - A 16-week program consisting of 8 weeks of learning, followed by 4 weeks of internship and 6 weeks of the career coaching stage and the job search stage up to 10 months.
AI Automation Specialist Program - A 16-week program consisting of 8 weeks of learning, 4 weeks of internship and 6 weeks of the career coaching stage and the job search stage up to 10 months.
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1. The Student is entitled to request a re-enrollment (one time only) for the next cohort of their program. Re-enrollment must be requested within 12 months from the initial start date of the Student's original batch. However, the final decision about this re-enrollment is at Careerist's sole discretion and is subject to availability.
Important: Students who utilize the re-enrollment option will not be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee, even if they meet all other program requirements.
1.2. Access to training materials is private and non transferable. The Student is responsible for the safekeeping of the training materials, login details, and password information. Careerist has the right to suspend access to training materials if any suspicious activity is detected.
1.3. Program Timeline and Access
Access to training materials is valid for twelve (12) months from the original batch start date. Students must complete all three program stages (Learning, Internship, and Career Coaching) within this 12-month period to be eligible for the final certificate of completion.
Students may request re-enrollment once, but even in case of re-enrollment, the service delivery period remains limited to 12 months from the original batch start date. Careerist reserves the right to provide services beyond the 12-month period at its sole discretion, but such extended services will be provided without Money Back Guarantee eligibility.
Upon successful completion of all program requirements within the 12-month timeframe and receipt of the final certificate, students become eligible for the Money Back Guarantee and may begin the 10-month job search period as outlined in the Careerist Money Back Guarantee Policy.
Important: The Money Back Guarantee is not applicable to Tech Sales program students, but applies to all other Careerist programs including Software QA Engineering, QA Automation, QA Bundle, and AI Automation Specialist.
Students who do not complete all program stages within the 12-month access period will not be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee, regardless of completion of individual stages.
1.4. Program Completion Requirements for Stage Progression
All programs must be completed within 12 months from batch start date to maintain Money Back Guarantee eligibility.

Important: Upon successful completion of all program requirements within the 12-month timeframe and receipt of the final certificate, students become eligible for the Money Back Guarantee and may begin the 10-month job search period as outlined in the Careerist Money Back Guarantee Policy.
2. MENTORSHIP
The training program schedule, video recordings, homework tasks, and Student learning rating can be found in Careerist's Learning Management System (LMS).
2.1. The Student can request Mentorship sessions to complete homework and/or to review lesson materials:
These support sessions are subject to the additional following conditions:
2.1.1. Requests for mentoring sessions should be submitted via email to [email protected]
2.1.2. The maximum duration of each support session by phone is 60 minutes and should be booked by the Student no later than two (2) business days in advance.
2.1.3. Mentorship by phone and email for each lesson is not cumulative and not interchangeable (i.e., if the Student does not use Mentorship for a certain lesson, the Student may not roll them over as additional mentorship for another lesson).
2.2. The Student is eligible to receive Mentorship only regarding the lesson materials. This type of support does not provide consultations with respect to job counseling or other requests which are not connected to the lessons materials.
2.3. While Mentorship is integral to the Learning section of the program, the Student may also request additional Mentorship sessions during the Internship and Career Coaching stages to review lesson materials and homework from the Learning stage. These additional sessions are subject to availability and at Careerist's sole discretion. NOTE: Mentorship addresses Learning stage content only. For Internship or Career Coaching questions, contact the relevant department directly via the email addresses provided in sections 3 and 4.
3. INTERNSHIP
3.1. Internship, as a part of Careerist training program, offers students the opportunity to gain beneficial practical experience by participating in internal and external projects, including completing tasks provided by Careerist´s partner company.
The internship is designed for the Student's educational benefit and is unpaid. Neither Careerist nor partner companies provide financial compensation to student participants. Internship does not involve formal employment by Careerist or partner companies. By accepting participation in the internship program, the Student acknowledges this is a training and educational experience without wages, employee benefits, or other compensation. Students understand that Careerist and partner companies are not required to hire Students as employees or contractors upon completion. The internship is performed remotely and students must have necessary equipment and stable internet connection.
3.2. The Internship opportunity includes:
The internship opportunity also includes real-world project experience, mentorship, and feedback on professional development.
3.3. The Internship opportunity is subject to eligibility criteria outlined below.
3.3.1. Structure and Access Criteria:
Software QA Engineering: The Software QA Engineering program includes a 4-week external internship. To gain access to the internship, a student must complete at least 75% of training modules, submit all required homework, and pass the final quiz within the course timeframe.
QA Automation: The QA Automation program includes a 3-week internship. To gain access to the internship, a student must complete at least 70% of training modules and submit all required homework and quizzes within the course timeframe.
Tech Sales: The Tech Sales program includes a 4-week external internship. To gain access to the internship, a student must complete at least 80% of coursework by passing all quizzes and submitting all homework assignments within the course timeframe.
AI Automation Specialist: The AI Automation Specialist program includes a 4-week internship. To gain access to the internship, a student must complete at least 50% of graded homework assignments within the course timeframe.
3.3.2. A Student who was granted access to the basic-level internship but failed to complete it is entitled to one re-enrollment to the basic-level internship, but the final decision on re-enrollment is at Careerist's sole discretion and is subject to availability.
Important: Students who utilize the internship re-enrollment option will not be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee. However, students will still receive the internship service within the designated timeline framework.
3.3.3. A Student who completes the basic-level internship may gain access to extended internship projects, subject to Careerist's sole discretion and availability. Extended internship duration is limited to six months maximum, with minimum requirement of two assignments per month completion within specified deadlines.
3.4. Access to any level of internship is granted only if the Student complies with all requirements and these Education Rules. Careerist reserves the right to revoke internship access for noncompliance.
3.5. Students receive internship support via email and Slack messaging. Support is limited to internship-related matters and does not include job counseling or unrelated requests.
3.6. Internship materials are private and non-transferable. Students are responsible for material security. Careerist may suspend access if suspicious activity is detected.
3.7. Please be informed that by joining an internship, you accept full responsibility for the applicable laws, including but not limited to labor and immigration laws and regulations. If it is applicable to your situation, you agree to receive all necessary visas and permissions and to comply with all applicable regulations to be eligible to get access to the internship. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Careerist, along with its affiliates, officers, directors, contractors, employees, subsidiaries, educational partners, agents, and permitted assigns, harmless from any liability for, or assessment of, any claims or penalties or interest with respect to such labor or immigration requirements, including any liability for, or assessment of, penalties imposed on Careerist, its affiliates, officers, directors, contractors, employees, subsidiaries, educational partners, agents, and permitted assigns, by the relevant authorities with respect to any violations of labor or immigration laws set forth herein.
3.8. By joining the internship program, you agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) as required by the internship program's terms and conditions. Please be aware that Careerist reserves the right to cancel the internship program if you refuse to sign the NDA.
4. CAREER COACHING
4.1. Career Coaching services include mock interview sessions, guidance on building a LinkedIn profile and resume, recommendations on job search strategy (including target geography, types of positions to pursue, application approach, and interview preparation for tech companies), and support in tracking your job search progress. Career Coaching provides guidance and recommendations to support the student's independent job search. Students are solely responsible for submitting job applications, securing interviews, and obtaining job offers.
CAREERIST CAREER COACHING SERVICES FOR NON-US STUDENTS ARE LIMITED TO MOCK INTERVIEW SESSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ON BUILDING A LINKEDIN PROFILE AND RESUME. CAREERIST DOES NOT OFFER STUDENTS SERVICES RELATED TO APPLYING FOR WORK OR INTERNSHIP VISAS OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF AUTHORIZATION TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE US. CAREERIST DOES NOT OFFER SERVICES RELATED TO JOB SEARCH MARKET GUIDANCE OUTSIDE THE US.
4.2. Career Coaching services are divided into two steps: the Career Coaching Stage and the Job Search Stage.
4.3. The Career Coaching Stage
For Software QA Engineering program students, the Career Coaching stage is divided into the following steps: Career Course with video lessons and 3 mandatory homework assignments, and Career Coaching. It lasts for 6 weeks and consists of individual coaching sessions, resume optimization (up to 3 iterations maximum), LinkedIn profile optimization with coach approval, and mock interview preparation leading to successful pass of the Final Mock Interview.
For QA Automation program students, the Career Coaching stage lasts for 6 weeks and consists of 6 individual coaching sessions in total, resume and LinkedIn building with a Career Coach, and successful completion of the Final Mock Interview.
For Tech Sales program students, the Career Coaching stage lasts for 6 weeks and includes 6 individual coaching sessions total, resume and LinkedIn profile development with Career Coach guidance, and successful Final Mock Interview completion.
For AI Automation Specialist program students, For AI Automation Specialist program students, the Career Coaching stage lasts for 6 weeks and consists of 6 individual coaching sessions total, resume and LinkedIn profile development, portfolio building with a Career Coach, and successful completion of the Final Mock Interview.
Students have up to three (3) attempts to complete the Final Mock Interview within 6 weeks of the Career Coaching Stage. "No show", cancellation or reschedule less than 24 hours notice will count as an attempt. Successful Final Mock Interview completion is mandatory to receive the final certificate of completion and gain access to the Job Search Stage.
4.4. The Job Search Stage
Important: The Job Search Stage period begins only after students receive their final certificate of completion within the 12-month program timeframe. If students do not complete their program within the designated 12-month timeframe, the Money Back Guarantee will not be provided. Careerist reserves the right to provide services beyond the timeframe at its sole discretion.
This step includes recommendations regarding job search strategies. For Software QA Engineering, QA Automation, and AI Automation Specialist programs, this step may take up to 10 months, depending on student performance, commitment to maintaining contact with Career Coach, and adherence to Careerist Educational Terms.
For Tech Sales program, Job Search Stage includes recommendations on job search strategies and may last up to two months with up to three additional coaching sessions, depending on student performance, commitment to maintaining contact with Career Coach, and adherence to the Careerist Educational Terms.
Students who do not complete their program and receive their final certificate within the 12-month program period are not eligible for Job Search Stage support or the Money Back Guarantee benefits.
4.5. Career Coaching services are subject to eligibility criteria and general rules:
4.5.1. Students must successfully pass the internship stage according to their program requirements to gain access to the Career Coaching Stage. Career Coaches are assigned within 3–5 business days of enrollment in the Career Coaching Stage.
4.5.2. Students must maintain contact with their Coach and respond to the assigned Career Coach within 2 business days after initial contact (outside of emergency situations). During the Job Search Stage, students are responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with their Coach at least once per month via call or email to discuss job-related activities and provide updates on job search progress via LMS forms, networking activities, and interview updates.
4.5.3. Students must thoroughly complete each step of the Career Coaching Stage and achieve 100% completion within specified timeframes shown in their personal LMS account to access the Job Search Stage.
4.5.4. Students must adhere to Career Coach guidance on resume and LinkedIn profile development and engage in studying mock job interview questions and answers within specified timeframes in their personal LMS account.
4.5.5. Students schedule calls with a personal Career Coach via Calendly link. Students must attend 1:1 sessions fully prepared with clearly defined agenda and objectives provided in writing via email at least 24 hours in advance. Objectives must pertain to the Careerist educational process or job search process. Students agree to reschedule sessions to available time slots in the Career Coach calendar. Students may reschedule sessions only for justified reasons such as personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances and must communicate schedule changes to Coach in writing via email or text message. Communication platforms include phone, Google Meet, or Zoom. Students may book maximum one call per calendar day and must provide at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling.
Important: Students who make three or more last-minute cancellations or no-shows for scheduled coaching sessions, or who fail to complete the Career Coaching Stage due to voluntary withdrawal (excluding approved emergency suspensions), will not be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.
4.6. Career Coaching Session Limits
The total number of 1:1 sessions with assigned Career Coach is limited to 6 sessions during the Career Coaching Stage. Each session lasts up to 60 minutes. Careerist reserves the right to suspend coaching sessions if student performance falls below expected standards required to progress through the current coaching step and complete it within the indicated LMS timeframe without prior Coach notification.
4.7. Students must maintain regular communication with their Career Coach. Students who fall behind schedule without a valid reason must notify their Career Coach and provide supporting evidence for any delays. Students accept full responsibility for reaching out to their Career Coach when they are ready to continue the Program during both the Career Coaching Stage and the Job Search Stage.
In emergency cases (health issues, medical emergencies, or death of immediate family member such as parents, siblings, or children), the Career Coaching Stage may be extended at the student’s request, subject to written agreement with the Career Coach and at Careerist's discretion.
Important: All services are limited to the 12-month program timeframe from the original batch start date.
4.8. Students must pass the Final Mock Interview (3 attempts available, including "no show", cancelation or reschedule session with less than 24 hours' notice) to receive the final certificate of completion and access the Job Search. Students unable to pass the Final Mock Interview after 3 attempts are not eligible for the final certificate of completion. Software QA Engineering and AI Automation Specialist program students must pass the Final Mock interview.
5. COMMUNICATION POLICY

6. SERVICE SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Careerist may suspend additional services or immediately terminate them if: (i) you use the services in a way that disrupts or threatens the services or violates the Careerist communication policy; (ii) we determine, in our sole discretion, there is evidence of fraud with respect to your account; (iii) we receive notice or we otherwise determine, in our sole discretion, that you may be using services for any illegal purpose or in a way that violates the law or violates, infringes, or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
7. IMPORTANT DISTINCTIONS
Service Delivery vs. Guarantee Eligibility
These Educational Terms describe the conditions for service delivery and progression between program stages. Please note that the conditions for receiving educational services may differ from the conditions for the Money Back Guarantee eligibility.
Service Delivery: Students who do not complete all program requirements within the 12-month program period may still receive educational services at Careerist's sole discretion, but without the Money Back Guarantee eligibility.
Guarantee Eligibility: To be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee, students must complete all program requirements outlined in these Terms within the 12-month program period and meet all additional criteria specified in the Money Back Guarantee Policy. The 10-month job search guarantee period begins only after successful completion of all program stages and receipt of the final certificate.
The Money Back Guarantee is available for Software QA Engineering, QA Automation, QA Bundle, and AI Automation Specialist programs. The Money Back Guarantee is not applicable to Tech Sales program students.
